((Okay, everyone. Let's see how well this works! ))


*walking down the streets of Rizelle in her skirt and blouse, her work bag containing work clothes slung of her shoulder, having gotten out of work early. Not really paying attention to where shes going, humming to the music in her head*

[Ayumi Elric]

"Late, I'm late, I'm late!" Ayumi dashed down the main street of Rizelle, carrying a backpack overflowing with assorted items. Cursing the fact that her tight dress was hindering her ability to run, she squirmed, trying to loosen up her clothes and run at the same time.

"Aah!" she shouted, tripping over her feet. She fell flat on her face, her backpack flying off her back and slamming into Kaylin.

"Ow...oh, geez, crap, I'm sorry!"

((I can't not roleplay this way, lol, feel free to stay the way you are though))

[Kaylin Fentress]

"Ouch!" Kaylin cried out, wincing as the bag hit her and rubbing her sore back.

Extending forth her hand she softly stated, "You should really be more careful, Miss."

[Ayumi Elric]

Blinking, Ayumi took her hand and brought herself to her feet. "Sorry again. I was in a rush." She grinned at her. "Haven't seen you around here, what's your name? I'm Ayumi."

[Kaylin Fentress]

"That's okay. We all seem to be in a rush lately." She lightly shook Ayumi's hand.

"I'm Kaylin, nice to meet you Ayumi. I'm not surprised you haven't seen me around, I'm usually busy and hardly ever outside."

[Ayumi Elric]

"Oh?" Ayumi tilted her head. "You work? Weird, your really...uh...short."

[Kaylin Fentress]

"Yup. I've got two jobs, and I'm taking some courses at the University."

Twitching at the short comment, Kaylin nodded, "Hai. I'm shorter then most people..."

[Ayumi Elric]

Ayumi grinned when she noticed her twitch. "Yup. Very short. Veeeeryyyyy short. Like a midget, almost. In fact, it's a wonder how I even managed to not step on you," she teased.

"I'm only kidding," she added really fast, in case Kaylin actually got offended.

[Kaylin Fentress]

Laughing, Kaylin nodded, "I know. I am short though. But I still have a few years to grow, thankfully!"

[Ayumi Elric]

Ayumi laughed along. "Well, that's good!" she fidgeted a little bit with her state alchemist watch, thinking vaguely of Ed. She wondered if he missed her at all... hmm. "So, ah..."

[Kaylin Fentress]

Taking a moment to really get a good look at Ayumi, she noticed the pocket watch. "You're a state alchemist...?"

[Ayumi Elric]

"Huh?" Ayumi blinked. "Oh, yeah." She shifted, hiding the watch behind her leg - most Feiberans thought of her as almost a blood traitor for defending Amestres. "I probably should get going-" she said quickly, trying to avoid any conflict.

[Kaylin Fentress]

"Oh... if you must." Kaylin frowned. "It was nice meeting you."

I hope she doesn't think I'd hate her... I'm actually intrigued by the fact that she's an alchemist of the state

[Ayumi Elric]

((lol I was hoping she'd stop me ))

"You too." She smiled. "Maybe we'll meet each other again, hm?" Waving, she turned around, gripping her backpack harder. "Kay, bye~"

[Kaylin Fentress]

"That'd be great. Maybe you could teach me some alchemy. Bye." Kaylin faced forward, heading back toward her apartment slowly with a concentrated frown on her face.
